Connected Worksite – The Digital Path to Sustainable Roadbuilding
Construction workflow planning and order management
These processes are completely digitized and monitored in real time. Orders can be transmitted as binding or non-binding, allowing the mixing plant to send immediate confirmations, rejections, or notices to the construction company in real time via Q Plant. Changes can be conveniently made from the office or a mobile device. All adjustments are recorded, ensuring that all parties have access to clear and traceable information at any time.

Planning and production
Working at Ammann
At Ammann, a family-owned Swiss company with over 3,700 employees worldwide, we are driven by a shared commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. With more than 150 years of experience, we combine tradition with forward-thinking to develop cutting-edge solutions for construction, road building, asphalt and concrete production.
Our success is built on the strength of our people. We empower every team member to contribute, grow, and drive the future of our industry. Collaboration, inclusion, and support define our culture, guided by values like respect, integrity, and trust. Join us and help build the roads of tomorrow.

Delivery
When mix is ready, Q Plant takes the delivery information directly from the Ammann weighing system and transmits it digitally to the truck driver and the construction site. This allows workflow to precisely match the delivery sequence of the trucks. At the same time, the mixing plant also receives real-time information about the truck locations, enabling efficient planning for further production and loading.
Paving and compaction
Q Machines
The paving process with the Ammann ABG paver is optimally supported by temperature monitoring of the mix. Compaction control and monitoring is optimally ensured with the Ammann ACE system, an Intelligent Compaction System. ACE can be supplemented by the cloud-based Q Machines solution, which exchanges information between machines and makes it available online for analysis and monitoring. This ensures maximum precision and efficiency throughout the paving process.

Documentation
The continuous documentation of all information offers valuable insights into the construction process and asphalt production. This data helps to identify optimisation potential at an early stage. It also provides documented history that can be shared with clients.
